Guinea Pigs! By Paige

Guinea pigs are good pets to get! They are very cute. You can actually put them on the floor without them running away as fast as they can like hamsters! (But don’t leave them on the floor without supervision, because they can still run away!) Guinea pigs do start to smell, but you can give them baths. If you get Guinea pigs, you need some things for them to survive including a cage, a water bottle, a food bowl, a hay rack, a hiding house, chew toys, guinea pig bedding, and Timothy hay. Timothy hay is important because it is 70% of their diet. Some guinea pigs are Albino, that means they have red eyes or pink eyes. Most guinea pigs have black eyes, but all of them are cute! Guinea pigs can be brown, black, white, red, yellow, and many more colors. As you can see in my description of myself I have two guinea pigs. (Wilbur and Luki) They are super cute and kind! I love them very much. Guinea pigs make cute little squeaky noises when they are scared, talking, or happy. Guinea pigs don’t like to be lonely, so it’s best if you get two but if you can’t, just make sure to play with him/her every day!
