I am going to talk about how to take care of a bunny and share some bunny facts.

First I am going to talk about Bunny facts:

• A female bunny is called a doe

• A male bunny is called a buck

• A young rabbit is called a kit (or kitten)

• Rabbits live in groups

• The European Rabbit lives underground in burrows

• More than half of the world’s rabbits live in North America

• Rabbits have long ears which can get up to 10 cm ( 4 in)

• Rabbits have a lifespan of around 10 years

• Rabbits are herbivores

• Pet rabbits that live inside are often called house rabbits

• Rabbits are born with there eyes closed and no fur

• Surprisingly bunnies can’t live off of carrots.

• Some bunnies can get up to as big as a toddler

• Rabbits groom themselves like cats do

Now that you know some facts about bunnies I am going to tell you how to take care of a bunny. Clean your bunnies cage frequently so they have a nice clean cage. Let your bunny get used to you so they are not afraid of you. One of my favorite animals are bunnies and so I need to know how to take care of one. And now you know too!
