A few days before my father died he was in and out of conciousness. At one point he woke up and exclaimed that he caught a glimpse of the afterlife. He was so happy. He said it was beautiful and full of colorful mexican hats. "Sombreros?" I asked? He said yes! And after he described it, he seemed excited for his next adventure.
